The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari have left London, United Kingdom, and are headed to Daura in Katsina State, where he will be buried later today.
Channels Television aired footage on Tuesday morning showing the late president’s remains being transported from London on the Nigerian presidential aircraft.
The elder statesman’s final journey is a solemn occasion, marking his return after passing away on Sunday evening at the age of 82, with his burial to take place in Daura according to Islamic rites, attended by top government officials, family members, and dignitaries.
