Vice President Kashim Shettima revealed on Thursday that despite their differing political leanings, the All Progressives Congress, Peoples Democratic Party, and the African Democratic Congress coalition are united.
During his speech, the Vice President referred to Nasir El-Rufai, a key member of the ADC coalition, as his elder brother.
The Vice President gave a speech during the launch of the book “OPL245: The Inside Story of the $1.3b Nigerian Oil Bloc,” written by Mohammed Bello Adoke, SAN, a former Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice.
He described the former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, as a “fire-spitting” leader.
Shettima stated that what binds the political class together is stronger than what divides them.
Shettima stated that the game changer is no longer present, but rather the enfant terrible of the Nigerian Governors’ Club, Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, and the fire-spitting leader of the Kwankwassiyya Movement, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who attract a diverse crowd of friends, including many dignitaries from the PDP.
