Dantata’s body arrives Saudi Arabia for burial

The remains of Aminu Dantata, a renowned Nigerian businessman and statesman, have arrived in Madina, Saudi Arabia, for burial on Tuesday.

According to family spokesperson Mustapha Junaidu, the delegation accompanying the body has landed safely and is finalising preparations for the Janazah (funeral prayer).

“The aircraft landed in Madina. We are now heading to the city for further preparations of the funeral prayer,” he said.

He stated that the funeral prayer would take place following the Asr prayer, as per Islamic tradition. Dantata, who was 94 years old, passed away in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Friday.
