Ambassador Laro was Nigeria’s Ambassador to France
He was flown in with a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) plane, was draped in the national colours as a mark of honour for his service to Nigeria.
AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, received the remains of the Ambassador at the Ilorin international airport.
AbdulRazaq is the current governor of Kwara State.
The governor was supported by other political bigwigs and family members of the deceased in receiving the envoy’s corpse.
The remains was later buried at his family compound in Ilorin according to Islamic rites with the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Mohammed Bashiru Salihu, leading the funeral prayer.
