NYSC announces plans for 2025 batch ‘A’ stream II orientation exercise

The National Youth Service Corps has issued an important update regarding the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course, advising prospective corps members and stakeholders to stay informed via official channels.

The NYSC has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course will officially come to a close on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, paving the way for preparations for Stream II to commence across all 37 NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide.

The NYSC has advised prospective corps members, as well as their parents and guardians, to monitor its verified social media platforms for updates on the start of Stream II, as the exact date for the next phase has yet to be announced.

“Prospective Corps Members, parents and guardians are enjoined to continually monitor NYSC Official Social Media channels for updates on the forthcoming exercise, including the commencement date, which will be made public in due course,” the statement read.

Caroline Embu, Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, urged calm and understanding as the NYSC finalizes its arrangements. She asked prospective Corps Members, their parents, guardians, and stakeholders to patiently await further instructions.

The NYSC remains a vital national institution providing young Nigerian graduates a chance to contribute to national development through a year of service. Stream II of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ will accommodate those not mobilized in the initial phase.
