“EFCC Still in Possession of Verydarkman’s Phone and Car” – Lawyer Gives Update

Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has provided an official update on the release of his client, social media activist Verydarkman, from EFCC custody.

A popular online commentator was released on Wednesday, five days after being detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, with the reason for his arrest still unclear, sparking widespread online attention.

Adeyanju has stated that Verydarkman was released without any bail conditions, but the EFCC still holds his mobile phone and car.

Notably, the lawyer maintains a deep respect for the EFCC leadership and has expressed admiration for the current chairman, Ola Olukoyede.

The update has triggered a renewed debate on social media, with many users demanding transparency about the reasons for Verydarkman’s detention and the ongoing seizure of his personal belongings.
