RUGIPO: ASUP felicitates Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitr celebration

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Chapter, has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Abiodun Ogunduboye, on behalf of the Chairman and other members of the executive, in a press statement urging Muslims to trust that Allah has accepted their prayers and supplications made during this period.

He urges them not to cease praying for wisdom for Nigeria’s leaders and security, prosperity and peaceful transition for the country.

The text of the message reads: “ASUP Offer warm congratulations to the Muslim community within the institution on the successful completion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

“Having observed the holy month of Ramadan with fasting and prayer, we are confident that Allah has heard and answered our prayers and supplications.

“The conclusion of Ramadan does not mark the end of prayers and supplications; rather, we should continue to pray for wisdom for our leaders and Nigeria’s security, prosperity, and peaceful transition.

“The Academic Staff Union of the institution RUGIPO requires the continued cooperation, support, and understanding of the public within the school community to deliver effective and efficient services to the institution”, he concluded.
