Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Kogi Central Senatorial District representative, has apologized to former Education Minister Obiageli Ezekwesili following her recent altercation with Onyekachi Nwaebonyi, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
Akpoti-Uduaghan stated that Ezekwesili endured the insults from Nwaebonyi, the Ebonyi North lawmaker, during the senate ethics committee hearing on the sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, on behalf of herself and all women.
Ezekwesili and Nwaebonyi got into a heated argument at the panel over a new petition submitted by Akpoti-Uduaghan against the Senate President.
The situation escalated when the former minister told the lawmaker to shut up during the panel. Akpoti-Uduaghan later apologized for the insults on X, saying, ‘Dr. @obyezeks, Ma’am, I apologise for the insults.’
