Rt Hon Martin Amaewhule, Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, has issued a warrant for the arrest of RISIEC Chairman Rtd Justice Adolphus Enebeli for failing to appear before the state assembly, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
The Rivers State House of Assembly had summoned the chairman and members of RISIEC to appear before it within 48 hours, warning that failure to comply would result in arrest, but they allegedly refused to honour the summons.
Three out of seven members of the commission have resigned as a result of this development.
