Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has been sworn in as the seventh governor of Ondo State.
Governor Aiyedatiwa succeeds Late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who who died December 2023.
Aiyedatiwa took the oath of office around 12:58 pm in Akure on Monday.
His inauguration came just minutes after Dr. Adelami took his oath of office as the Deputy Governor of Ondo state.
The event had in attendance Senate President Godwill Akpabio, the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Abdullahi Ganduje and other top members of the party.
