The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of three students from the Federal College of Agriculture in Akure, who were taken while working on a farm near Akure Airport in the Oba-Ile area of Akure North Local Government, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
The victims, who were receiving Industrial Training (IT) at the farm, were reportedly kidnapped on Saturday evening while heading home.
According to Funmilayo Odunlami, Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command, anti-kidnapping operatives have been deployed to the area.
Furthermore, Commander Adetunji Adeleye of the Amotekun Corps in the state also confirmed the incident and stated that security operatives were searching the entire area for the victims.
Meanwhile, a family source revealed that the kidnappers have contacted the victims’ families, demanding a ransom of ₦15 million.
