President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed eight permanent secretaries in the federal civil service, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
The appointments were disclosed in a statement by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga on Monday. According to the statement, the new permanent secretaries are to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.
The appointments are the second set of eight permanent secretaries made by the president, following those appointed last June.
The new permanent secretaries are: Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu from Abia State, Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip from Bayelsa State, Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia from Ebonyi State, Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam from Enugu State.
Others are; Kalba Danjuma Usman from Gombe State, Usman Salihu Aminu from Kebbi State, Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso from Rivers State, and Nadungu Gagare from Kaduna State.
President Tinubu has urged the new permanent secretaries to demonstrate greater commitment, diligence, and innovation in serving the nation.
