President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Jami’u Abiola as his Senior Special Assistant on Linguistics and Foreign Affairs, effective November 14, 2024,
The new development was announced by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations.
This move aligns with the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, as amended. Abiola, who previously served as Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Vice President’s office, is expected to utilize his extensive experience in his new role.
President Tinubu has tasked him with collaborating closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance Nigeria’s linguistic diplomacy and international relations.
