In a historic ceremony in Benin, Senator Monday Okpebholo took oath as the Governor of Edo State at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Tuesday, marking a significant event after the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the gubernatorial seat for the Dennis Osadebay House two months earlier.
Okpebholo took his oath of office alongside his running mate Dennis Idahosa.
Godwin Obaseki had served as governor for two terms till November 12, 2024.
