Former presidential spokesman, Doyin Okupe, has stressed that the South West people will no longer watch anyone insulting President Bola Tinubu, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
Okupe, a former Director-General of Peter Obi’s 2023 presidential campaign council and former spokesman to the former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said President Bola Tinubu is the apple in the eyes of well-meaning Nigerians South West in particular and must be allowed to be ridiculed by anyone.
Okupe made the warning while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today yesterday.
In his words; “From now on, we are no longer going to keep quiet for people who think they can just insult Bola Tinubu,” he said.
“Tinubu from the South West is the apple of our eyes. He is not doing wrong. If things are not looking well(now) they’ll look well because we know him.”
