Omisore Gets New Appointment

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has appointed Bamikole Omishore, a digital communications specialist, as the Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Multilateral Relations.

The governor made this announcement on Wednesday while assigning portfolios to special advisers in the state.

In the past, Omishore served as the Special Assistant on Media and Advocacy to Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki of Kwara Central Senatorial District in 2011.

He later became the Senior Special Assistant on International Relations in 2016 when Saraki served as President of the Nigerian Senate.

As the Special Adviser on SDGs and Multilateral Relations, Omishore’s responsibilities include using the SDGs platform to foster an environment that promotes job creation, local consumption of agricultural produce, reduces hunger, and improves healthcare in Osun State.

Additionally, he will act as the representative and point of contact for the state government with foreign missions and developmental partners.
