Former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen’s only son has passed away at the age of 42.
Richard Adamu Tallen passed on Sunday morning at the Cedar Crest Hospital, Abuja, following a brief illness.
According to an undisclosed report, Richard had been admitted to the hospital and placed on oxygen support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Friday night. Despite medical intervention, the cause of his death remains undisclosed at this time.
He was a graduate of Computing Science from a United States University, survived by his wife and three children.
The family has assured that details of his burial arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
In a heartfelt tribute, the Vom Old Boys’ Association (VOBA), where Richard was an alumnus, also confirmed his death on their social media platform. The group wrote:
“On a very sad note, we regret to announce the sudden passing of our member, Mr Richard Adamu Tallen. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of Richard and all departed VOBA members rest in peace.”
