Corruption, one of challenges confronting Nigeria – ICPC chair

The chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr Musa Aliyu, SAN, Tuesday, said corruption is one of the major problem currently confronting Nigeria, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.

Dr Aliyu made this known in Ibadan when he led the agency management team on a condolence visit to the family of late former ICPC chairman, and retired Supreme Court judge, Justice Emmanuel Ayoola.

The Chairman stressed that there’s need for all Nigerians to joined hands with the agency to wipe the challenge of corruption in the country.

Dr Aliyu added that the issue of corruption had been in the country for a long period of time and that ICPC had been trying to tackle the menace.

He begged Nigerians to allow the commission to do their job.
