An employee of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company, Auwal Dankode, has been applauded for his honesty after returning N16million discovered in a plane.
Dankode, a worker at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, was said to have discovered $10,000, about N16m while cleaning the aircraft.
Dankode honesty was reported by a security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makaman.
He said in a post on the X platform on Wednesday that Dankode, after discovering the cash, promptly reported the incident to the airline company’s manager, initiating a search for the rightful owner.
His immediate action, according to Zagazola, has earned him widespread praise and admiration.
