Some youths have gathered on Thursday at Ikeja, Lagos, to demand an end to hunger, poverty in Nigeria.
The youths were seen carrying placards and banners chanting aluta slogans.
The protest, which was peaceful, was closely monitored by armed security officers who were present to ensure that the demonstration remained violence-free.
The protesters’ demands included improved governance, an end to corruption, and better living conditions for Nigerians.
