Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has initiated a lawsuit at the Kano State High Court, presided over by Justice Yusuf Ubale.
It was gathered that the legal move aims to prevent the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from detaining him.
This development follows a recent interrogation by the EFCC concerning allegations involving 2.5 billion naira in campaign funds associated with the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
