Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has stated why he did not apply to become the team’s next head coach.
Platinumpost reports that, since Jose Peseiro’s contract expired, several former Nigerian players have been connected to the position.
Enyeama has stated that he would have applied if he had secured his coaching qualification and wasn’t focused on his hotel company.
He told Afrik-Foot: “For you to be able to coach the Super Eagles, you must be certified. That’s the minimum standard.
“That’s the number one reason, and then for the fact that I have been very busy developing and managing my hotel has taken a lot of my attention, and that business is the most important thing for me now.”
