Canadian based popular Activist, Olujimi Adekanle widely known as JAF has sent a congratulatory message to HE Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his victory at the just concluded APC primaries.
Savannah Newsnow reports that the incumbent Governor, was declared winner of the primary.
Adekanle, who arrived Nigeria few weeks ago to rally support for the governor hailed the APC supporters who rose in their numbers to make the victory possible.
In a congratulatory message, Adekanle said Aiyedatiwa’s resounding victory was an affirmation of his widely acknowledged sterling performance as a governor in less than three months.
“On Saturday and Sunday, All Progressives Congress members in Ondo State trooped out in their large numbers to exercise their democratic rights.
“In their wisdom, they voted massively to give His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa a clear mandate to run for the governorship election coming up in the state.
“The majority party members decision was expressed in very plain and unequivocal terms. I congratulate the governor and sincerely rejoice with him,” he said.
Adekanle commended the leadership of the party for ensuring the success of the primary election in the state. He hailed the party leaders for effectively mobilising its members.
He also hailed the security officers for creating environment, which enabled the primary election to be successful.
Adekanle urged the governor to extend a hand of fellowship to other contestants who vied for the ticket along with him.
