Governor Zulum Swears In SSG, Advisers.

Babagana Zulum yesterday presided over the swearing-in of the Secretary to the State Government, three special advisers and a permanent secretary in Borno State, SAVANNAH NEWS REPORTS.

The ceremony was held at the International Conference Hall of the Musa Usman Secretariat in Maiduguri.

Borno State Chief Judge, Kashim Zannah, administered the oath of office to the new appointees.

Addressing the newsmen after the swearing-in ceremony, Zulum directed that files and all government communications should passed through the office of the Secretary to the State Government.

The governor called on the appointees to live up to the expectations of the government and people of Borno State.

Governor Zulum also charged the permanent secretary to ensure that no administrative vacuum is allowed to linger in the state.

The new SSG, Alhaji Bukar Tijani, was a minister of state for agriculture from July 2011 to September 2013.

Also sworn in were Hon. Ahmed Sanda, Protocol, Engr. Baba Bukar Gujibawu, Monitoring and Evaluation, Engr. Ibrahim Idriss, Special Projects and Aisha Ibrahim Abdurrahman as Permanent Secretary.
