The Department of State Services (DSS) has refuted claims from some quarters that Bello Bodejo, the president of Miyetti Allah Kautal, is in their custody.
Debunking the allegations, DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya said Allah Kautal Hore is not with the DSS.
The clarification was made in response to Bodejo’s alleged arrest over the unveiling of a vigilante group in Nasarawa state.
According to report, Bodejo had unveiled a “Nomad vigilante group” without the approval of Federal government.
Badejo recruited 1,144 Fulani youths from different communities across the 13 LGAs.
“Every ethnic group has criminal elements among them, so if a Fulani man or woman commits a crime, he or she should be treated as a criminal just like others and not a Fulani criminal,” Bodejo had said.
