The Ondo State Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced Tola Alabere, as the acting State Chairman of the party.
This was made known in a press conference after an emergency meeting at the party’s secretariat in Akure, on Thursday.
Savannah Newsnow had earlier reported that Fatai Adams was suspended by nine out of the eleven members of the State Working Committee.
According to the suspension letter signed by the nine executive members, Fatai Adams was suspended over alleged anti-party activities.
The party’s working committee in the state announced the suspension of the state chairman in a statement on Tuesday.
