The Rivers State Government has demolished the State House of Assembly complex in order to begin renovations.
The demolition began on Wednesday morning.
It will be recalled that 27 members of the Rivers Assembly elected on the Peoples Democratic Party defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress on Monday, December 11, 2023 during their plenary session.
It is not longer news that Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his former principal Nyesom Wike have not been on a good political ground for months now.
