SavannahNews CEO, Prince Olujimi Adekanle has emerged winner of the prestigious Africies Outstanding pioneer award.
Africies award is symbol of recognition for Outstanding individuals who have made a significant impacts on the African continent and global community.
The name of the award reflects the intent of the organiser to honour exceptional Africans who are quietly changing the narrative through what they do in affecting lives positively.
With this, Prince Adekanle becomes first few Africans to receive such ponderable award.
The award will be presented to the Nigerian based Canadian by the Africies-African Canada investment group in a grand fashion and award night in Ontario, Canada on December 1, 2023.
The award will be conferred on the Nigerian in recognition of his outstanding work in promoting entrepreneurship, his exemplary contributions to the development and his dedicated efforts towards national growth.
Mr Adekanle, a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist through his non-profit foundation popularly known as Jimi Adekanle Foundation, has funded several entrepreneurs, helped the poor especially the lame ones in his country home.
