Senator Abba Moro of Benue South Senatorial District was elected Senate Minority Leader during Tuesday plenary.
He was nominated and confirmed by the opposition party in the red chamber.
He is a two-term Senator on the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) platform.
He succeeded Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon of Plateau North Senatorial District, who was sacked by the Appeal Court few days ago.
Senator Moro was a former Minister of Interior during the former President Goodluck Jonathan government.
