Savannah Newsnow had earlier reported that the Nigerian singer was nominated for Best New Artist with Blaqbonez, Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez, Odumodublvck, and others.
This was revealed by ChartsAfrica, a charting organization, on their twitter handle.
This honor is significant in Portable’s career because it is his first international prize, and it also designates him as the Best New Artist.
The Zazu act, overjoyed, shared the news on his Instagram story channel, thanking his followers and supporters for their support.
