Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Kayode Egbetokun has issued an order for the redeployment and posting of forty senior police officers, twenty-six of whom are Commissioners of Police and fourteen Assistant Inspectors General of Police.
In consequence of their newly elevated status as senior officers, they were allocated to diverse commands and formations throughout the nation.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, listed the AIGs as follows:
