The newly inaugurated senator representing Adamawa North, Amos Yohanna, has assured his Constituents of his commitment to responsible representation.
Yohanna defeated his predecessor, Senator Abbo at the Appeal Court few days ago.
In an interview with journalists at the Yola International Airport upon his return to the state from Abuja after he was formally inaugurated at the red chamber of the National Assembly as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he said he will give a responsible representation to the people.
In his words:“My people should expect responsible representation in the upper chamber of the National Assembly. They should expect a representative that will represent their yearnings and wishes, a representation that will bring back to them what they have lost for years. They should expect that now they have someone who is there for them and will stand for them at all times,” he said.
Yohanna promised the people to work the governor Fintiri to enhance good governance in the state
“I will work with the State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to improve the living condition of his people, adding that although the governor did everything to resettle most of his people who were displaced from their homes by the Boko Haram insurgents, he will support the governor in all ramifications to succeed.”
He said the legislature is all about synergy, interaction, networking and lobbying.
