The Supreme Court is scheduled to deliver judgement on Thursday, October 26, 2023, in the appeals of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi; the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Both Atiku and Peter Obi had submitted petitions against the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was made known by the Supreme Court’s Director of Press and Information, Dr Awemeri Festus Akande in Wednesday, in Abuja.
Awemeri stressed that suitable security measures have been put in place to prevent security breaches both inside and outside the courthouse.
On Monday, final arguments were taken from the lawyers to parties in the petitions.
The Justices thereafter reserved their judgments.
