Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) shot 3 students of Federal College of Forestry of Nigeria (FCFN), Ibadan, Oyo State,
The EFCC stomed the school premises to make arrest of suspects yesterday.
Savannah News reliably gathered that the EFCC personnel entered the school premises and informed the school management before proceeding to make the arrest.
“The students came out in solidarity with their colleagues. While the issue was being sorted out by the FCFN management, a back-up team came and began shooting sporadically. I understand that three students sustained gunshot injuries and were taken to hospital,” said the source, who is a staff of the college.
The spokesman to the Commission, Dele Oyewale, said he was gathering information on what transpired and would make an official statement as soon as he was through with his findings.
“I am on top of it. I will send a statement to you as soon as I am through with gathering information on the issue,” Oyewale said.
