John Okafor, widely known as Mr. Ibu, has taken to social media to seek public assistance as he battles an ailment that may cost him his leg.
Mr Ibu made the appeal from his hospital bed on Wednesday through his verified Instagram page.
In the post, the veteran actor said he has been down for several weeks and has been on admission.
Speaking, the actor explained that his doctors told him they might resort to cutting off his leg if he exhausted his options.
Also speaking, his daughter, Jasmine Okafor, stated that her father is not recuperating and has exhausted all his financial resources, hence the public appeal.
She appealed to the general public to help fly the veteran actor abroad for proper medical attention.
