President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr Bayo Onanuga as his special adviser on Information and Strategy.
Onanuga is a Nigerian journalist. He co-founded TheNews Magazine and was appointed managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria by the former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Onanuga was a spokesperson for the defunct Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign team.
The appointment was made known by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday night.
According to the statement, the appointment was part of efforts to prioritise effective and efficient working synergy between the Presidency and Federal Ministries.
Also, the president also appointed Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation
“The President wishes the new presidential aides well in the discharge of their duties,” Ngelale stressed.
