Retirees in Nigeria have commended President Bola Tinubu for the N25000 fuel subsidy palliative given to them for three months.
The group of retirees however pleaded for an extension of the palliative to six months.
It would be recalled, President Bola Tinubu on October 1st announced measures by his government to cushion the impact of fuel subsidy removal on the people.
President Tinubu announced N25000 respite to Federal retirees for three months.
He announced that same amount was to be paid to low grade civil servants for the period of six months.
Celebrating this year’s Pensioners Day, the group of retirees use the opportunity to applaud. President Tinubu for the initiative.
The group however seek an extension to six months to enable them to meet up with their daily needs.
