Lagos State Police Command has announced that the friend to late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin popularly known as as Primeboy, has finally turned himself in, SAVANNAH NEWS REPORTS.
Police had on Wednesday declared Primeboy wanted after his refusal to honour police invitation for questioning on the death of his friend Oladimeji Aloba widely as Mohbad.
Lagos Police spokesperson, Hundeyin, made the announcement through his verified twitter account on Thursday afternoon.
The police spokesperson in the statement assured that anyone found culpable in Mohbad’s death would be brought to justice.
The statement reads:“Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.
“The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation. The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice,” he said.
Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12, in a suspicious circumstances leaving behind his wife, son and parents.
