Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains the most formidable and enduring political brand across sub-Saharan Africa.
Speaking during a meeting of the PDP National Convention Protocol Committee in Abuja, Fintiri attributed his political growth and achievements to the platform provided by the PDP, describing it as a party built on strong democratic ideals and institutional depth.
The governor disclosed that preparations for the party’s forthcoming national convention, scheduled to hold on November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, are in advanced stages. According to him, the compilation of delegates’ lists is ongoing, with a firm commitment to ensure a transparent, credible, and inclusive process that will produce leaders of integrity capable of repositioning the PDP as Nigeria’s leading opposition party.
Reiterating his loyalty and commitment to the party, Fintiri assured members that the PDP would not falter under his stewardship.
He urged stakeholders to remain united, focused, and resolute ahead of the convention, emphasizing that the PDP’s wide reach, robust structure, and enduring resilience continue to distinguish it as Africa’s biggest political force.
