2027: Primate Ayodele sends strong warning to APC Published

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has once again stirred political debate after warning that the All Progressives Congress (APC) could lose its stronghold in Kwara State if urgent steps are not taken.

In a statement circulating online, the cleric was quoted as saying: “APC will no longer win Kwara State; they need to do a lot of work there.”

His prophecy has divided opinions. While some Nigerians believe Ayodele’s words reflect the growing dissatisfaction among the people, others dismiss them as yet another round of sensational predictions ahead of the next elections.

This is not the first time Ayodele has sounded warnings to the ruling party. He has on several occasions cautioned APC not to take states like Lagos for granted, stressing that political dominance can easily slip away if grassroots sentiments are ignored.

The warning carries added significance in Kwara State, where the dramatic fall of the Saraki dynasty in 2019 paved the way for APC’s rise. Now, Ayodele’s message suggests the party could be heading for a similar upset if it underestimates the shifting political mood.

For now, his prophecy has left many Nigerians watching closely: will APC consolidate its grip on Kwara, or will history repeat itself with another shock political turnaround?
